Motorcycle Rally

June 1 thru June 30, 2024

Registration

Register between February 15th and May 31st, 2024

    • Registration will be conducted through Ride Master after February 15th and will remain open until May 31st. Use any registration button on this web site to access Ride Master. Select the 2024 Honor Ride for Veterans rally. Registration is a two-part process, please respond to the email from Ride Master to complete your registration.

    • Registration fee is $50, which includes an Honor Ride for Veterans long sleeved shirt, decals, trophies, awards, swag, registration, and postage.

  • Please note: All shirts will be custom printed and mailed after registration closes on May 31st.

RAISE

Encourage friends, family, employers, and businesses to contribute to your score and this great cause. 

    • Raised donations solicited by an individual rider /participant can be credited to their name starting May 1st

    • Donors wanting to contribute to in individual rider /participant may do so after May 1st.

    • Registered riders and participants names will be available in the donation page, as a choice, after May 1st.

    • If needed, convert cash donations to your own credit card or contact me regarding large checks or employer matching donations. 

    • Every dollar you raise equals 5 points towards a rider’s total score.

    • Donations are made through PayPal.  A PayPal account is not needed to make this donation. 

    • Donations made in a rider’s or participant’s name must go through the Donation Page.

    • Once donor payment is received, the rider will receive credit and a confirming email.

    • Donation deadline, to be counted toward your total raised, is June 30th 11:59 PM.

    • No Rider shall use the Honor Ride for Veterans event at any point, before during or after their participation to solicit financial support for themself. All Donations/funds collected must go to the charity. Any violation of this rule will result in a rider being disqualified from this event and all future events.

Rally Start Recording

Record your starting mileage on or after June 1st, 2024

    • Simply record your starting mileage any time after 12:01 AM June 1stst by obtaining a dated store receipt. Be sure to confirm the Date and Time accuracy of the receipt. Gas receipts are often best. 

    • Record your bikes exact mileage on the receipt and photograph this receipt with your bike odometer in the photo.

    • Then submit your starting mileage to the form located on the Rider Mileage Reporting page.

    • After submitting your start milage form, riders are encouraged to post their photo to the Honor Ride for Veterans Facebook page. 

KEEP ALL RECORDS! Riders are responsible for keeping copies of their starting and ending mileage receipts along with the photo next to their bike odometer.  An audit will occur for the top riders. 

Ride

Ride at your discretion, as many miles as you can between June1, – June 30, 2024

    • The Honor Ride for Veterans Rally can be run during your regular commute, weekend trips, vacations or during other long-distance events.

    • Any miles ridden by the rider during these dates will count.

    • You only have to photo document the starting and ending store generated Date and Time receipt visible with your bike’s odometer. 

    • Any brand of motorcycle, scooter, side hack, or trike is welcome.

    • Get your friends involved, ride as a group, go on an epic trip or extreme ride!

    • Please post your experiences and updates on the Honor Ride For Veterans Facebook Page

Rally End Recording

Record your ending mileage by 11:59 PM June 30th

    • Simply document your ending mileage by obtaining a Dated and Timed store receipt before June 30th 11:59 PM.  Be sure to confirm the Date and Time accuracy of the receipt. Gas receipts are often best. 

    • Record your bikes exact mileage on the receipt and photograph this receipt with your bike odometer in the photo.

    •  Submit your Honor Ride for Veterans Ending Mileage Form found on the Rider Mileage Reporting Page.

    • After submitting the ending mileage form, riders are encouraged to post their photo on the Honor Ride for Veterans Facebook page. 

    • All final mileage submissions MUST be entered by June 30th before 11:59 PM to be scored.

    • Any items received after June 30th, 11:59 will not count towards awards.

Awards

On or before July 5th, results will be posted!  Awards will be mailed after results posting. 

  • Top three finishers will receive trophies.  
  • Highest mileage rider awarded a trophy.
  • Club/organization with the highest points will receive a trophy.
  • All riders will receive a raffle ticket for one of the prizes donated by our sponsors.
  • In a separate, non-riding category, a trophy will be given to the highest scoring registered Non-Riding Finisher. 
  • Trophy winners will receive an invitation to an Honor Flight Nevada reunion banquet.  
  • All finishers will receive a certificate according to their standing. 
  • More prizes being added by sponsors between now and start of the rally. These Prizes will be identified along with their sponsor. 

Points / scoring

2024 Honor Ride for Veterans Rally Points Scoring 

    • An Individuals rally score is based on the combination of donations received and miles ridden.

    • Earn 1 point for every mile ridden.

    • Earn 5 points for every dollar raised.

    • 3000 points or more to be a Silver Finisher

    • 5000 points or more to be a Gold Finisher

    • 10000 points or more to be a Platinum Finisher 

    • Rider earning the most points WINS.

    • Non-Riding registered participants will qualify as a Non-Riding finisher in a separate class. 

    • Ride Harder or Raise Smarter

Tips

  • Confirm the accuracy of your Dated and Time receipts.
  • Make sure to photo your beginning and ending receipts with your bike’s odometer visible. 
  • Make sure your photos are clear with both the date, time and mileage visible. 
  • Ride safe
  • Have fun
  • Get your friends, other riders, businesses and employers involved.
  • While you are in the wind smile with pride knowing that you are helping a vet.  
  • Whiners or whining is not encouraged

100% of all donations made through the Honor Ride for Veterans Rally go to Honor Flight Nevada. Donations to this 501(C)(3) charity may qualify as tax deductions. The money raised will be used to show appreciation for our veterans by providing them a once in a lifetime trip, with other veterans, to see their memorials in Washington D.C., a very emotional and healing event for them. 

All Honor Ride for Veterans Rally entry fees are used to offset the costs of this event, shirts, decals, trophies certificates, swag, printing, internet and mailing. The entry fee goes to the Honor Ride for Veterans rally and is not a tax-deductible donation. Any excess monies collected from registrations after all expenses will be used to offset next year’s rally are donated to Honor Flight Nevada. There are no administration fees associated with Honor Ride for Veterans staff.
